Green Inventions - Terms & Conditions
General
In this document, “us”, “we”, “our” refers to Green Inventions Ltd while “you” and “your” refers to the client or customer of Green Inventions Ltd.
These Terms and Conditions may be revised at any time and without notice at our sole discretion. The use of our products/services is taken to be your agreement to adhere to the current Terms and Conditions at any given time.
Green Inventions will make every effort to ensure orders are completed within the stated time, but we will not accept any liability in the event of failure to do so. Should delays be experienced in the completion of a tree planting project, the client does not have the right to cancel, either entirely or in part.
Where credit has been provided by Green Inventions, payment terms are strictly 15 days from the date of invoice. We will cancel orders that have not been paid for within this 15 day period.
If any part of these Terms and Conditions shall be held to be invalid or unenforceable, this shall not affect the enforceability of any other provisions of these Terms and Conditions.
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English Law, and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
Tree Planting
Green Inventions understands that tree-planting is only one possible carbon offsetting method. We do not advocate that planting trees will combat climate change on its own.
Emissions figures can vary due to the different sources of data used, and different methodologies employed to calculate emissions. Huge variations also exist in the value of different offset methods. Green Inventions are not responsible for this data and accept no liability whatsoever in respect of any claim arising from the use of figures quoted by Green Inventions Ltd.
In the long term, Green Inventions understands that solving the carbon problem will have to be more about reducing emissions rather than potential storage of CO2 but we do believe that tree planting schemes are beneficial in raising awareness of these issues. Tree planting schemes are also desirable for the foreseeable future whilst our economies change to accommodate national and international green policies. Until a time where there are Government accredited carbon offset schemes available, Green Inventions Ltd accepts no responsibility in the event that tree planing schemes are discredited as effective solutions.
Green Inventions does not claim to provide the exact formula of how many trees should be planted to neutralise your company’s carbon emissions, as this could be misleading.
Based on our research, the carbon calculator we provide on our site does however provide a meaningful indication of your carbon footprint – and it sets a realistic estimation of how many trees should be planted to offset your activities. However, we accept no responsibility whatsoever for information which is subsequently deemed to be inaccurate.
